As communities across the nation commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the CAA is celebrating America250 through two significant initiatives that honor Florida's artistic identity while elevating Northwest Florida on both national and regional stages.

After an inspiring inaugural year, Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) and the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County are thrilled to welcome back Camp Girl Power—a free, high-energy summer experience designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and foster meaningful connections for rising 3rd–5th grade girls throughout Walton County.

The Cultural Arts Alliance, with support from the St. Joe Community Foundation, invites artists, artisans, makers, and small businesses to be part of the CAA Art Bazaar at Watersound® Town Center this fall.

The CAA is now accepting applications for artists and food vendors for the 34th Annual Flutterby Arts Festival, taking place Sunday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Watersound® Town Center.

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), in partnership with Bay Arts Alliance and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), is calling artists to submit artwork for a special exhibition celebrating America's 250th Birthday and Florida's unique role in our nation's history, culture, and future. Submission deadline is June 17, 2026.

From June through August, music lovers can gather for intimate performances that capture everything fans love about the festival — incredible songwriting, authentic storytelling, unexpected discoveries, and that unmistakable feeling of community that happens when great songs bring people together. Whether you’re a longtime festival regular or experiencing the 30A music community for the very first time, this series is your chance to soak in the festival vibes all summer long.

Art Month is not one event—it’s a collection of more than 40 creative experiences throughout the month of May that span visual art, performance, literature, and community connection.

This official designation amplifies the value of the Arts in our community and helps us spotlight the many talented artists, cultural experiences, and creative opportunities available to both residents and visitors throughout the month of May and beyond.

The Distilled series transforms Distillery 98 into a pop-up gallery each month, showcasing a featured artist’s work in a relaxed, social setting. Broxson’s residency will include a gallery-style installation, an opening reception, and an interactive workshop designed to engage both collectors and casual art enthusiasts alike.

On Thursday, March 26, more than 400 music lovers gathered at the Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center for an unforgettable evening celebrating original music at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County’s 2nd Annual “Made in Walton County” Songwriters Showdown. We were truly blown away by the talent, heart, and authenticity each artist brought to the stage.

The CAA is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2nd Annual “Made In Walton County” Songwriters Showdown, taking place Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6–8:30 p.m. at The Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center. This family-friendly event celebrates the art of songwriting and showcases the region’s vibrant music community.

The CAA of Walton County proudly announces Renee Broxson as the Featured Artist for the 38th Annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival. Her custom artwork—Crowned in Courage—will be showcased on all ArtsQuest marketing materials. The festival, a beloved May tradition, will take place May 2 & 3, 2026, at Grand Boulevard Town Center’s North Park.

This exciting live showcase celebrates homegrown talent, original music, and the stories behind the songs. Songwriters of all genres are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to perform, connect with an engaged audience, and compete for cash prizes—plus a guaranteed spot in the 2027 30A Songwriters Festival lineup.

The first time I witnessed the Cultural Arts Alliance’s Beyond Bars songwriting program was at a concert in January 2025. What I experienced was incomparable joy, a new depth of sadness, and a hope so big it filled my chest—rooting for men I had barely met. Learning from Caitlin Cannon and watching the transformative power of songwriting unfold inside those walls changed how I see music, and humanity, forever.
