30A Songwriters Festival
The 30A Songwriters Festival celebrates 16 years of Hooks, Lines & Singers January 16-20, 2025. The event is the major fundraiser for the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that champions the arts through leadership, advocacy, funding, programs and education. The Festival’s success is critical to the success of the CAA, and your support as a ticket-buyer, partner or volunteer helps us provide an abundance of programs, services and support to the community.
The 30A Songwriters Festival is a unique four day music extravaganza featuring over 125 songwriters and musicians performing original songs in various genres ranging from country to Americana and folk as well as blues and soul in over 25 dedicated listening rooms on historic Highway 30A and beyond throughout South Walton. The Festival brings together nearly every South Walton community and many businesses to showcase our home as a destination not only for the beauty of its beaches but also for the wealth of its artistic cultural offerings. Past performers include Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, John Prine, Indigo Girls, Graham Nash, Grace Potter, Jason Isbell, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Shawn Mullins and Patty Griffin, among many more.
The CAA’s goal is to put Walton County on the map for its cultural and artistic excellence, and the 30A Songwriters Festival, which the CAA co-produces with Russell Carter Artist Management each January over Martin Luther King weekend, is proof that music and art are very important reasons to come to visit this beautiful destination.
