Cindy Meadows had a passion for art at a very young age. She spent most of her professional years in community planning and design. Upon retirement, she began to pursue art on a full time basis. Her current work is primarily abstract Impressionism using acrylic paint, charcoal, graphite, and oil pastels. She has also studied portrait drawing, and most recently began to explore plein air painting. Most of her inspiration for abstract Impressionism comes from her surrounding environment, music, emotion and glimpses of whimsy in everyday life. Her work has been shown in galleries, retail establishments, private homes, and offices.
