CAA Announces Emergency Relief Funds For Artists

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) announces its Emergency Relief Fund for Artists (ERFA) established this past week to address the immediate economic needs of local professional artists who have experienced loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications will be accepted weekly through CAA’s website, and grant awards will be available within one week of approval. A fundraising campaign has also been launched to ensure that funds remain available as long as necessary. CAA Announces 2020 ArtsQuest Poster Artist

ArtsQuest, the 32nd annual fine arts festival produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), is pleased to announce the 2020 Festival’s Featured Artist, Michael McCarty.  A Mother’s Day weekend tradition, ArtsQuest is a juried show scheduled to take place May 9 & 10, in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. 2020 UMA Artists Announced

CAA Selected For Winn Dixie Community Bag Program

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is celebrating selection as a Winn Dixie Community Bag Program beneficiary! For the month of November, every time the reusable $2.50 Community Bag is sold at the Winn-Dixie at 65 Poinciana Boulevard, Miramar Beach FL, Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County will receive a $1 donation. Calling All Kids For The Flutterby Festival

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is calling all kids to flitter to Watersound Origins to celebrate 26 years of the Flutterby Arts Festival. This year’s event takes place Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on the green located directly behind Two Birds Coffee + Café. 2020 UMA Artist Call Released

This opportunity is open to artists and artist teams with a demonstrated history of collaboration completing large-scale public art projects. Following the application deadline of November 15, 2019, the CAA will convene a panel of arts and marine environment specialists to review the applications and select proposals for completion and installation. Seven artists will be commissioned to develop design proposals and create a 3D piece of original artwork to be permanently installed in the Underwater Museum of Art for deployment Summer 2020.
