This class focuses on the basics of acrylic painting to create a flamingo painting in realism style. The portrait will be created on a 16x20 canvas, with all supplies included, and initial sketch already laid out.

Nicolaus Seegel is an acrylics hyperrealist out of Niceville, Florida. His work mainly focuses on large highly detailed pieces that showcase his precision and extreme attention to detail, often paired with a stark black background. Although I began painting at a young age, I turned my attention to music for many years, then academic pursuits, and I have now returned to painting again over the past few years.  After spending most of my life in New Jersey, I have recently relocated to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, where I hope to be able to portray the local beauty with its vibrant light and colors in my future paintings…
