About the Event
Join us for an evening of wonder and discovery in Grand Boulevard Town Center on Wednesday, May 1 from 6 - 9 p.m. for Dine + Dive, a fusion of fine art, food and wine event igniting all of the senses to benefit the nation’s first Underwater Museum of Art. The CAA and South Walton Artificial Reef Association (SWARA) are pleased to expand the former Under the Sea event to feature more than a dozen restaurant tasting stations, scores of incredible wines to sample as well as incredible continuous live music from opener Boukou Groove followed by headliner Cousin Curtiss, a 30A Songwriters Festival favorite!
We are excited to offer guests the opportunity to view several of the UMA sculptures before they head to their permanent underwater home, mingle with the artists, sample more than 50 wines from around the world from the Martinelli Family Winery and Sonoma County Vintners Association, as well as taste featured items from popular area restaurants and celebrated Chefs including Bijoux, Cantina Laredo, Cinders and Salt, The Citizen at Alys Beach, Down Island, Grayton Beach Catering, Great Southern Cafe, Marrow Chefs, Mozey's Mobile Cuisine, Red Fish Taco, Roux 30A, Stinky's Fish Camp, Surfing Deer, and Swiftly Catered.
Cousin Curtiss brings to the stage a fiery dynamic rarely seen by a solo act and now partnered up with the equally enigmatic and soulfully driven electric guitar prowess of Harrison B, these two road warriors are on a mission to electrify audiences everywhere with their two-man full-band sound. Think, "blues at bluegrass speeds." Imagine, "rock americana with a soulful drip." Experience rapid fire acoustic guitar, incendiary harmonica, fiercely energized solos, all driven by a thunderous kick drum.
There will be a full cash bar on site and all event net proceeds will help fund the sixth deployment of sculptures into the Underwater Museum of Art in 2024 bringing the total number of deployed art works to 47.
Tickets are on sale now for $100 in advance and $125 on the day of the event, if available. Event sponsorships are available, contact Gabby Callaway for details.
