Join instructor Jan Sitts for a four day Visual Sensation in Mixed Media Painting workshop at the Bayou Arts Center February 14 - 17, 2022. Class time is 9am - 4pm each day.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

TEXTURE

1. working with partial stencils, tissue, acrylics. string, variety of mediums in a spontaneous fashion covering 1/4 sheet 300 lb w.c. paper

2. a second piece (300lb. 1/4 sheet) in a design format

COLOR (ACRYLIC PAINT)

3. acrylic paint = layers and washes using some iridescent and pure color with your variety of acrylics you bring to the class

Finishing all unfinished assignments

Composition / more composition

Discussions / critiques on your paintings and how you can make them better
