I was an only child until age 6. My mother was an artist and gave me crayons and books to color. Every drawing I made was a masterpiece. She took home movies of my pictures. To this day, I still show my pictures to whoever will look. I never received any formal art education until I returned to college for an art degree at age 62. I had, however, completed several art projects along the way. As a realtor, I re-decorated homes and re-modeled several for re-sale with my partner.
