In 2014, I was transported across the world to a place that I imagine may have taken a clue from heaven, beautiful Switzerland. Really hard things happened in this lovely slice of paradise. I helped a lady clean out her garage and she gave me some old paints, brushes, and little canvases. I painted over the gray. I had no idea what I was doing, but I needed the distraction. The art that I always felt I had in me just poured out of me. I dream about what I want to paint. I get pictures in my mind that I must share. Sometimes artists say they are self-taught. I’m not really taught at all, by myself or any other. I have realized now that the most important thing about being creative is the courage just to put it out there. So here it is, I hope you enjoy getting a little peek at what goes on in my head.
