Sherry Sweet Tewell, affectionately known as "Sweet T," is a distinguished artist whose vibrant career spans over 40 years. Based between the enchanting Florida Keys and the picturesque Emerald Coast, Sherry’s creative journey began far from the coast in Kentucky. Her artistry has gained national recognition, with numerous gallery exhibitions and impressive large-scale mural projects showcasing her unique vision.

Sherry’s work is deeply inspired by the intense light, brilliant colors, and the rich flora and fauna of her coastal environment. Her paintings, textile designs, and children's books reflect a passion for capturing the natural world in all its splendor. The Florida Keys, with their radiant sunsets and diverse wildlife, provide an endless source of inspiration for Sherry’s dynamic and colorful art.

Living aboard a houseboat in Key West with her beloved cat, Cosmo, Sherry’s life is as creatively stimulating as her work. This idyllic setting has also sparked a new venture: a whimsical children's book featuring the adventures of her feline friend and his encounters with the magical creatures of the sea and sky.

Sherry’s art not only captures the beauty of her surroundings but also conveys a sense of wonder and playfulness. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to translate her vibrant environment into various artistic forms have established her as a beloved figure in the art world. Through her paintings, designs, and stories, Sherry Sweet Tewell continues to enchant and inspire, inviting others to experience the world through her colorful and imaginative lens.
