For over 40 years Sue Carol Knight has constantly strived to reach the highest artistic plateaus in order to achieve her goals of creating great works of art. Her mediums of choice are watercolor, oil, photography, and subject matter from the traditional portraits of people and animals, to Plein Air landscape painting of her travels and local scenes on and around our Emerald Coast!

Sue enjoys the study of brushstrokes and compositions of many great artists of the past and present. “With each work I challenge myself to live up to the standards of excellence of a hand-made original work of art.” Too often a rare accomplishment in the computer generated world.

These days Sue shows her work, teaches in her private studio, and paints and photographs nature. “Creating has been a lifelong adventure of trying new things, and enjoying all of the arts: theatre, poetry, music, cooking – just to name a few!
