- Dheron Winfield
VIEW GALLERY ART Dheron Winfield Being a Special Forces veteran I’ve been blessed to do things and visit places I never would’ve imagined growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York. During a difficult combat deployment, I embraced photography as an outlet for my fatigued and strained mental health. My goal at the time was simple, to find and appreciate the small beauties even in a dark place like war-torn Afghanistan. As a photographer, I refrain from phrases such as “to take a picture” and “capture an image”. The reason is that this world's beauty was not meant for ownership, but rather “showcased” to be viewed, interpreted, and felt. Simply stated, I strive to narrate the unseen stories of the world, and the unspoken words between the lines. https://www.dheron.com/
- Kathleen Broaderick
Kathleen Broaderick Kathleen Broaderick is an artist based on the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida. She started painting during her last semester at FSU when she filled an extra slot in her schedule with a watercolor class. She has been a student of art ever since. While living in England, Chicago and Stuart, FL she took art classes & workshops whenever she could. After moving to the Emerald Coast in 2000, she was introduced to oil painting. During this time, Kathleen was an art volunteer at Plew Elementary for 10 years while her sons attended the school. She then became certified to teach art and elementary education and taught kindergarten and art at Edge Elementary in Niceville. Now, a full-time artist, she wakes up early to paint or walk on the beach for inspiration. “If I am not painting I am cooking. My family and I love to eat.“ Instead of perfectly representing exact details and color of her subject, Kathleen paints to capture an impression and evoke deep and true emotions from within the viewer. CHROMA Studio & Gallery allows her to combine her art studio and love of teaching in one place. Kathleen is honored to have been named Visit South Walton’s 2018 Artist of the Year. http://kathleenbroaderick.com BACK TO EXHIBIT Button Button Button Button

- Brett Hewitt
VIEW GALLERY ART Brett Hewitt Based in Homestead, FL, his first piece of art was made for his mother in the form of a rocking chair. Little did he know, the reactions and encouragement from his family that day would propel him to refine his style and make working with copper a lifetime affair. While his focus is on nature and wildlife primarily, he has a strong passion for bringing scenes of wildlife and orchids to life through his creations. Brett's inspiration comes from years of diving, exploring, and researching Florida's unique water and land features. His hopes are to create lifelike scenes while promoting awareness and conservation for the native wildlife found in Florida. https://www.backcountrycopperart.com/
- Mary Redmann
Mary Redmann An artist her entire life, Mary Redmann remembers immortalizing her surroundings on canvas from the age of three. She finds inspiration for her abstract waterscapes and marbled creations from her travels, people, colors themselves, and mostly, nature. “I’ve always felt close to nature, and it’s one of the main things that I look forward to when I travel back to my native Sweden every summer”. After taking a hiatus from visual arts for a few years due to new priorities: three energetic blessings; finishing up a degree in business management; moving between Sweden, England, the U.S., and Japan; as well as many other changes, Mary picked up painting on a daily basis again about six years ago, after one of her closest friends introduced her to a process known as Vedic Art. This was a critical point in her evolution as an artist, where Mary transitioned from focusing mainly on creating a premeditated image to allowing herself to simply paint whatever came up in the moment, thereby learning to enjoy the journey of expression as much as the finished result. It was around this same time that Mary’s artistic style evolved from figurative to semi-abstract, a result of desiring a more unrestricted way of creating. Most of Mary’s pieces consist of numerous layers of resin and ink applied in a fluid, intuitive way, creating a multi-dimensional experience for the viewer. https://www.maryredmannart.com/ BACK TO EXHIBIT Button Button Button Button

VIEW GALLERY ART Mary McCollum Blue Barn | Acrylic | 13.5" x 13.5" $400.00 Circles and Lines | Acrylic | 24" x 24" $450.00 Circles Squared | Acrylic | 24" x 24" $450.00 Jumbled Shapes | Acrylic | 30" x 42" $2,500.00 Color is my muse. Whether choosing to approach a painting in a traditional style or abstraction I love to push color to new limits. As colors interact, they convey a feeling, point of view or mood. Combined with varied methods of application, be they traditional or unorthodox, color is the focus of my work. My home studio allows me the opportunity to act on my creative instincts at will. Being a native Philadelphian, I have had access to the faculty from some of the finest, long established Art Colleges and Academies in the country. My recent move to the beautiful Emerald Coast will undoubtedly inspire me to take my work in a new direction.

- Oblivious of his Bonds
CON-SCIOUS EXPRESSIONS Joshua Little Oblivious of his Bonds Oblivious of his bonds, the man stands before the bench. His senses muted, drowned by purling maternal sobs - tidal waves in the heart. Beside him stand bailiffs, resolute as pallbearers. Judgement is nigh, he knows. The gavel rises, he closes his eyes. A sonorous FOREVER booms a thunder clap of gavel explodes Ricocheting off the cathedral ceilings. Borne away, the deluge that is the wails of loved ones carries him like flotsam. As the flood cedes a casing creaks, clanks. His eyes open: dark, cold silent are the catacombs of forever. - Joshua Little Previous BACK TO EXHIBIT Next
