  • Elizabeth Miles

Elizabeth Miles I grew up on the Potomac River where it widens into the Chesapeake Bay, and this early immersion in water and woods remains a primary influence on the forms, colors, textures, and subject matter of my art. The spaces that exist between (between humans and nature, between stages of life, between an object and its observation, between life and death) hold particular interest to me. My work ranges from full room installations to small intimate pieces and often combines metals, wood, and found objects with glass. https://www.elizabethmilesart.com/ BACK TO EXHIBIT Button Button Button Button

  • Masha Edmond

VIEW GALLERY ART Masha Edmond Ponce de Leon | Oil | 24" x 36" $950.00 Shimmers | Oil | 36" x 36" $975.00 Waves of Light | Oil | 24" x 24" $650.00 Masha was born and grew up in the beautiful country of Moldova, located in Eastern Europe. As is customary for many artists, as a child she always scribbled, drew and painted, including in her textbooks. After regular school classes, she would attend the Alexei Sciusev Art School, located in one the old Victorian houses in the city center, where the main focus was on classical drawing and painting techniques. In high school, Masha and her family moved to the US, and ended up in Los Angeles. During that time, she was awarded the Ryman Arts scholarship, and completed their 2 year program for young artists, which was held at the University of Southern California campus. Shortly after, her desire to see the world and travel translated into joining the US Army. Her first duty station was in Washington state, and gave her the opportunity to enjoy Seattle’s diverse art scene. Here she continued to try different art techniques and refine her style. A couple of years later, Masha got the assignment of a lifetime, and got stationed at a small military base in Tuscany, Italy. Among the ancient ruins and a rich cultural heritage, she discovered a renewed sense of passion for her craft. The museums in Rome, Florence and Milan brought all the photos from the history books to life. She took art classes that were available on base and checked out all the art books she could find at the local library. During that time she completed her first commissions as well. One of her happiest moments was when her painting of the Duomo in Florence was hung to be permanently displayed at the library on base. Upon completing her military service, Masha embarked on a new mission: to pursue her passion for medicine, as a pharmacist. Enrolling in pharmacy school, she balanced the rigorous academics with her unwavering interest in art, finding inspiration in the symbiotic relationship between science and creativity. After pharmacy school, life brought her to the Emerald Coast of Florida. She has been living here for the past 6 years, in love with the white sandy beaches and the turquoise water. Today, Masha continues on her creative path, drawing inspiration from her travels, cultural experiences, and the world around her.

  • Pete Sintes

VIEW GALLERY ART Pete Sintes I began drawing at around 7 or 8 years of age fascinated with hot rod cars, Rat Fink and Disney. I graduated from Fort Walton Beach High, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Then attended Okaloosa-Walton Community College (now Northwest Florida State College) then on to The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. My career has spanned over 40 years as a technical illustrator, graphic designer, multi-media and digital content creator and visual conceptual artist/illustrator for private industry and US Government (USAF DOD Civil Service). Throughout my career I’ve utilized both traditional and digital media/techniques in developing my art. In 2015 I decided to resurrect my airbrushes and restart developing airbrush art. Due to the break of over about 20+ years there was slight learning curve in the new surfaces and paints now available. So, to shorten the learning curve, which proved to be the best decision. I chose to take workshops from Dru Blair (on site), Gerald Mendez and Steve Gibson (Airbrush Art Circus), which proved to be the best investment I could have possibly made. Not only did it shorten the learning curves, but I was exposed to new and advanced techniques from the “Master” themselves. “PRICELESS”. I now combine my skills in digital and traditional media to create my art. I usually begin with sketches on paper or sometimes on my iPad or computer. Once I settle on the concept I’ll begin researching reference photos from my collection or the internet. I’ll then composite the images and manipulate them in Photoshop until it resembles what I envisioned in my head. It’s only been recently that I’ve begun to display my art to the public. I’ve been recognized by Airbrush the Magazine as one of the top “100” Airbrush Artists for 2018, 2019 and 2020. Most recently I was also published in Airbrush the Magazine a "How To, Step by Step" article for my "Bald Eagle" painting. I was also selected to display my airbrush piece “BB Sings the Blues“ at the Southeastern regional art exhibition, ArtFields 2019 in Lake City, SC where there were over 300 artists from the Southeastern US were represented. I’m also a regular participant at Pensacola’s Gallery Nights (Pensacola, FL) and Pensacola’s Seville Quarter’s Artist’s Gallery Night since 2018 along with other shows and events across the United States. I was selected to display two pieces, “Balboa Guitarist” and “Maverick’s Left” at Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, in Melbourne, Florida, in the 100% Pure Florida Artist Exhibition. Concurrently, I was also was selected to participate in the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County Exhibition at the Emerald Coast Theater Company, Miramar Beach, FL. Those pieces were titled “Sea Turtle II” & “Sea Turtle III”. Recently on my work, "Maverick's Left" and "Bald Eagle" were on display at the 58th Annual Bay Area Arts Exhibition, in Panama City , FL. Most recently my works titled "Maverick's Left" and "Mavericks" were selected to be in virtual art display, "Surfing the Pacific Rim" at Huntington Beach Art Center in Huntington Beach, California. I was one only 7 other artist that had the maximum of 2 pieces selected from over 300 works curated by the legendary surf artists and airbrushers, Rick Rietveld and Phil Roberts. https://www.34pro.com/
