- Bailey Rathmann
VIEW GALLERY ART Bailey Rathmann Bailey Rathmann is a native of Destin, Florida and has been painting for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biosystems engineering and a minor in business-engineering-technology. Bailey is currently obtaining her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi online. While in her undergraduate degree, she was able to take a 2D Studio Art course and a Looking at Art course. These courses helped further her passion and technique for art. Bailey took requests from friends and family throughout her undergraduate degree to create paintings for them. Her family and friends encouraged her to start selling her art. Bailey started selling her art online and through social media in August 2020. Bailey is widely known for using bold and saturated color paints within her art pieces. Bailey believes in the philosophy that art has the capability to move people, provoke ideas, and invoke emotions in people. The influences of Bailey’s work come from the environment, music, and life experiences. Bailey creates a wide variety of paintings such as portraits, animals, landscapes, and abstracts. The main medium sources Bailey uses are acrylic paints, canvases, heavy papers, and thrifted vintage records. In 2022, Bailey made her artist debut in the local art scene. Bailey first displayed two of her portraits, Timotheé Chalamet and Zendaya, at the Go Figure Exhibit in The Foster Gallery located in Miramar Beach, Florida. Her works were on display at the 2022 ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival in the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County member tent. These works included You Are the Only You, Here Comes the Sun, and Emma Watson. Bailey also displayed an abstract painting, The Journey, at the Show Us Your Best Exhibit in The Foster Gallery located in Miramar Beach, Florida. Bailey has done a solo public arts display event for the Walton County Library in October of 2022. Most recently, Bailey has participated in the CAA Member Juried Exhibition at the Foster Gallery displaying You Are the Only You. https://baileyrathmanncreates.com/
- Kim Clark
VIEW GALLERY ART Kim Clark Journey | Acrylic/Oil | 30" x 30" $2,700.00 Magical Moth | Acrylic/Oil | 24" x 24" $1,200.00 Voyager of Celestial Dreams | Acrylic/Oil | 24" x 36" $1,800.00 Kim is an abstract realism artist surrounded by forest and living on the water with her husband in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She has a Chesapeake Bay retriever, 2 cats, 4 chickens, all kinds of wild animals visiting her yard, and a beautiful beach only 3 miles away. Her 3 adult children are all grown up with children of their own. In her spare time, she likes to travel, drink coffee on the porch, visit and playing cards with the family, and takes photographs for inspiration. It was during her seventh-grade art class that she first felt a magnetic pull of art. Encouraged by her art teacher to observe and feel the texture of yellowing maple leaves and rough tree bark, she found herself profoundly moved by the organic beauty of the world. Now, she has an artist studio in her backyard! A significant milestone and confidence came as she painted in Venice, Murano, and Burano, Italy, and exhibited her work at the Instituto Canossiano San Trovaso in Venice Italy. She continued to paint for several years and made the decision it was time to enroll at the Milan Art Institute. This elevated Kim’s skills and her artwork exponentially and is now a full-time master artist. Beyond the canvas, Kim’s ambition is for every individual to own a signed original piece of artwork, reflecting her belief in the power of emotional art.

- Roost and Puddle
The sculptural concept uses up-cycled dead/dying tree waste from log material salvaged from Parks and Recreation services and (or) as located through public/civic stewardship. Through an offsite process of physical pixelation, the artist prepares wood disks of material taken from logs that are then cut into cubes and drilled to be installed on site using armatures of steel rebar embedded in the natural trunk base for the cubes to appear dissolving off its natural growth pattern. Sculpture materials have no negative ecological impact on the environment they are installed in, and become extensions of nature and natural cycles found there. - Reneé Moss | Cultural Arts Alliance
A Florida almost-native, our family relocated to Weeki Wachee Springs when I was just four. A life-long love of Old Florida’s distinctive, raw coastal beauty was born. After two stints at the University of Florida and more than two decades in branding, graphic design and copywriting, my husband and I took the helm of a family farm and promptly started a Southwest Georgia wine business—Farmer’s Daughter—aptly named for our own. As 2020 brought great change to our world, it presented our family with a silver lining chance to take a leap. We relocated full-time to Walton County where—like countless others—we’d spent weekends and summers captivated by breathtaking beaches, colorful sunsets and an unrivaled natural canvas, brimming with wildlife and artistic inspiration. Fast-forward to present day, and as the kids learned to tie their shoes and take on other important tasks, I found a fleeting nugget of time for me again. And decided to grab it. A travel journal was begun. Quick sketches paved the way. The kids were intrigued. And so I began to rekindle a long-buried passion for drawing—squeezing it carefully into a busy schedule of homeschool and marketing/business management. My love of nature and the beauty that surrounds us—both here in SoWal and on our forays to the islands—fuels my artwork. I enjoy working with dry media, most specifically colored pencil, chalk pastel and charcoal. I simply cannot get enough flora and fauna, sandy vistas, turtles and dolphins… and every so often I wander into a bit of portraiture. I’m here to I learn from the expertise of so many talented artists around me as I finally rediscover my own inner artist. - MICHAEL WEBSTER | CAA Walton County FL
< Back To Artists Page MICHAEL WEBSTER Drayton, SC BIO Michael Webster is an artist who focuses on the social organization of space through site-specific projects, sculpture, and installation. His work is context-driven and materially attuned, investigating the effects of power on social geography with a focus on long-term participatory projects rooted in the southern United States. Additionally, he has completed projects in Chicago, Ill., Moorestown, N.J., and Talca, Chile, and has participated in residencies at the Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences, Elsewhere Living Museum, and Penland School of Craft. Michael's exhibitions include 701 Center for Contemporary Art, Locust Projects, Wiregrass Museum of Art, Tiger Strikes Asteroid Greenville, and Western Carolina University. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from East Carolina University and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he participated in the GFRY interdisciplinary design studio. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carlina. ARTIST STATEMENT Through projects that span sculpture, archives, and cartographic impulses, I respond to the becomings and undoings of space. Maps present the false illusion of a static world entombed by the grid, a conception of space as mathematical. Instead, my work begins with a social conception of space, where shifting territorial boundaries form strata between people. I seek moments where boundaries become permeable: a place where architecture dissolves into raw matter or the surveyor’s tools encode a digital artifact. By finding residues where systems are revealed, I question the processes of demarcation and displacement which inscribe sites of contention on the land. My practice is responsive at its core. Rather than invent new images, I recontextualize things already in circulation or develop site-specific, participatory projects. Sometimes I will live with an object for a decade before I can meet it on its own terms. This responsiveness acknowledges social and material agency outside of myself and ultimately makes my practice a symbiotic one. Other people and other things offer many insights about living in fractured geographies. Their faint echoes reverberate through every space, carrying layered histories to anyone willing to listen. I work in the amplification of echoes.
