  • Kathleen Broaderick

VIEW GALLERY ART Kathleen Broaderick Kathleen Broaderick has been a resident of the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida for the past 21 years but she began her artistic journey during her last semester at Florida State University as a Communications major. She decided to fill an extra elective slot in her schedule with a watercolor class and never looked back. After raising two children and teaching elementary school, she has turned her longtime passion into a career. Kathleen has been described as being able to perfectly seize the essence of the subjects in the painting. By boldly using color and light in her work, she brilliantly turns any subject into a personal, relatable piece to be appreciated by all. Instead of perfectly representing exact details and color of her subject, Kathleen paints to capture an impression and evoke deep and true emotions from within the viewer. In the summer of 2017, Kathleen opened CHROMA Studio & Gallery at 3925 W. County Hwy30A, in Santa Rosa Beach. CHROMA allows Kathleen to combine her personal art studio and love of teaching in one place. In October 2017, Kathleen was named South Walton’s Artist of the Year, representing the beautiful 30A area and all area artists. In December, 2020 Kathleen took her teaching online and introduced her first online painting course, “Essential Elements”. It teaches new and evolving painters the basic skills necessary to confidently create on their own.You can find more at https://chroma30a.com . https://chroma30a.com/

  • Doug Foltz

VIEW GALLERY ART Doug Foltz I find great joy in seeking new places - both literal and figurative... finding something new about the world, and more importantly, the relationship I share with it. Painting has long been a way for me to indulge that exploration, and my work inevitably ends up being less about the way a place looks than the way it makes me feel. For almost 50 of my 68 years, I have lived as a painter, drawer, photographer, architect, designer, explorer, learner and teacher. Any self connection I've achieved has surfaced most naturally for me in time spent with both the expanse and the intimacy of the natural world - particularly the coastal world I have been lucky enough to know since birth. In those spaces, between water, sky and land, I’m able to connect with the critical elements that make up my work... balancing the known and the unknown - of both the place and myself in it. I can be at once, small and large, warm and cold, dark and light... both powerful and unimportant... and it is those feelings that have driven my skyscapes and landscapes for years. I'm fortunate to have work hanging in private and corporate collections from Seattle to the Bahamas and northern Europe. I currently work from studios in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida - where I live happily with my wife Alecia and Airedale Stella – and in regular sessions on the southeast Georgia and Central Maine coasts. I hold a Bachelor of Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University. Since the mid 90's I have participated in multiple solo and group shows across the eastern US and had work published regularly in American Art Collector, Coastal Living, Southern Accents, Décor and Traditional Home magazines, and The Best of American Oil Artists. I’m currently represented by Huff Harrington Fine Art in Atlanta Georgia, by Gardner Colby Galleries in Naples, Florida, and by Fusion and Art30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. https://www.dougfoltz.com/

  • Jason Lindblad

VIEW GALLERY ART Jason Lindblad Jason Lindblad is an artist who brings pen and ink illustrations to life, attracting viewers and collectors with beauty and delicate details. His love for vintage fashion, Art Deco, and theatre inspires his original works of art. A student of art since he was 5 years old, Lindblad has worked with many different mediums. Born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky he attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he focused on graphic design and fiber and materials. Later on, he continued his studies in illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, where he developed and deepened his love for drawing and painting. Lindblad currently resides in Destin, Florida, and works out of his studio creating traditional drawings, digital media illustrations, painted works, and collage. He uses a process that combines both pen and ink, plus digital illustration to make his unique and stylized works of art. Inspired by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Yoshitaka Amano, and Erte- Lindblad works to create intricate images that engage the viewer into style and detail. When not creating, he enjoys the art of action-figure collecting and video games- both of which have had an influence on his creative outlook. His goal is to make art unique, engaging, entertaining, and accessible for everyone- and hopes to make that possible. https://jasonlindbladart.com/

  • Kristina Perry | Cultural Arts Alliance

My goal as an artist is to create paintings that are visually stimulating and powerful, and that resonate in some emotional way with the viewer. I marvel at the beauty and complexity of creation, the interaction between light and shadow, space and atmosphere and the brilliance and subtleties of color. As the observer of these gifts I realize how privileged I am to see the world through the eyes of an artist. • Kathy Schumacher

VIEW GALLERY ART Kathy Schumacher Kathy Schumacher is an oil painter based in Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast. She is nationally recognized for her distinctive palette knife style. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, as a military wife, Schumacher worked and traveled around the world. After raising her two children, she discovered an innate talent and heartfelt passion for oil painting. Her mid-life discovery evolved into a career: she was bound to be a professional artist. Schumacher is primarily a self-taught artist citing an instinctive flair for painting. Initially, her art career began in traditional oil painting, but eventually she developed her own style using palette knives. Her novel approach is recognizable in any subject she chooses to paint: vibrant colors, energetic strokes, and multidimensional attributes resulting in a dynamic final product. Schumacher derives her inspiration from her natural surroundings: coastal landscapes, plants, florals, and even people and animals. Her original works have been exhibited at several galleries and fine art shows. She has a devoted following and collector base throughout the country. Most recently, Schumacher and her daughter, who is also an artist, had their first mother-daughter art exhibition hosted by Ferrari of San Diego. https://kathyschumacherart.com/
