- Dheron Winfield | Cultural Arts Alliance
Being a Special Forces veteran I’ve been blessed to do things and visit places I never would’ve imagined growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York. During a difficult combat deployment, I embraced photography as an outlet for my fatigued and strained mental health. My goal at the time was simple, to find and appreciate the small beauties even in a dark place like war-torn Afghanistan. As a photographer, I refrain from phrases such as “to take a picture” and “capture an image”. The reason is that this world's beauty was not meant for ownership, but rather “showcased” to be viewed, interpreted, and felt. Simply stated, I strive to narrate the unseen stories of the world, and the unspoken words between the lines. -- Instagram - @dheron.art Facebook - Dheron.art Dheron Winfield Being a Special Forces veteran I’ve been blessed to do things and visit places I never would’ve imagined growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York. - Barbara Suhadolnik
VIEW GALLERY ART Barbara Suhadolnik Barbara Suhadolnik grew up in East Tennessee. From an early age she was interested in art but did not pursue that interest until college. At the University of Tennessee, she majored in Elementary Education with minors in Art Education and Art History. Throughout her career as an Educator, Barbara dabbled with various artistic endeavors, such as stained glass, acrylic painting and ceramics, but didn’t stay with any for very long. After retirement that changed. On a trip to the Destin, FL area in 2015, Barbara and friends took a class in glass shard art from Mary Hong’s studio in Grayton Beach. After that first class, Barbara took several additional classes where she learned to finish her shard art with epoxy resin. Along the way, Barbara became interested in acrylic paint pouring finished with epoxy resin. She studied the process on the internet and found that some artists were carrying paint pouring to the next level by tinting the resin itself four pouring. She was hooked and started creating tinted epoxy resin pours on canvas. It was easy to transfer that process to embellish functional items such as charcuterie boards, trays and coasters using a food safe resin. Barbara says she is having more fun than she has had at any time in her life. She loves what she is doing and is amazed others seem to like what she creates too. She named her hobby Embellished by Barbara Suhadolnik.

- Ginger Laughlin
VIEW GALLERY ART Ginger Laughlin I've always been an artist to the core. My life, though I've had many careers and hobbies, I kept coming back to ART! It has been my joy and this is where I find my "happy place". Every day I evolve and discover more techniques and use of color. When people ask me how long it took me to create a painting, I answer all my life! All my life experiences and education have brought me to the place I am in my art! It's years of experience that has brought me to where I am. I absolutely love painting in oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums. I can't get enough of creating something with bright, vibrant colors! Layering color is one of my favorite techniques that bring about a rich, complex painting that upon close inspection, the beauty underneath shines through. Art is like wine. It's very subjective. I like many styles of painting, but have been influenced by Monet's impressionist style and the Old Masters' like Johannes Vermeer and Thomas Baker's use of luminosity in their paintings. https://www.theartistginger.com/
