- Kirsten Koza Reed | Cultural Arts Alliance
Hope, love, faith, and goodness are recurrent themes in my works. The bulk tends to be perfectly imperfect. Many of my pieces are created with a palette knife adding organic layers of interest, the look of peeling paint and evocative texture. I try to feel through my pieces as I paint them, creating an emotive scene or snapshot that stirs a soul. Oftentimes, I write prayers for the world on my first layer – sending my peace out into homes and businesses. Whether it’s through an abstract angel, a lone barn, or a cheerful bouquet of flowers, I love to capture hope and beauty in our often dark and broken world. Many of my pieces are purposefully upbeat and encouraging, as I believe in coloring world by spreading joy and hope – as those emotions have rescued me. I invite you to join me in my art adventure by exploring and capturing some of the magical kaleidoscope we get to call “life.” Kirsten Koza Reed Hope, love, faith, and goodness are recurrent themes in my works. - Oblivious of his Bonds
CON-SCIOUS EXPRESSIONS Joshua Little Oblivious of his Bonds Oblivious of his bonds, the man stands before the bench. His senses muted, drowned by purling maternal sobs - tidal waves in the heart. Beside him stand bailiffs, resolute as pallbearers. Judgement is nigh, he knows. The gavel rises, he closes his eyes. A sonorous FOREVER booms a thunder clap of gavel explodes Ricocheting off the cathedral ceilings. Borne away, the deluge that is the wails of loved ones carries him like flotsam. As the flood cedes a casing creaks, clanks. His eyes open: dark, cold silent are the catacombs of forever. - Joshua Little Previous BACK TO EXHIBIT Next

- Bonita Loman
VIEW GALLERY ART Bonita Loman Bonnie is a self- taught artist that believes that life isn’t about finding yourself, but creating yourself and she is creating. Bonnie loves vibrant colors and incorporates them in her art. Her mixed media compositions combine the theme of the beautiful area of South Walton, an then adding a personal touch with her Mom’s jewelry collection. Each piece is unique. Bonita Doerfler Loman, (Bonnie) was born and grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh, in the small borough of Blawnox. Her first exposure to Art was from her Babka (grandmother in Polish), who was involved in all aspects of crafting. During Bonnie’s school years she was in her element in any art room. She entered several art competitions and received an honorable mention for her elephant spoon sculpture. She also attended Toole Painting classes in her early years that aided in her painting abilities. Bonnie’s life took her away from Pittsburgh while working for the Veterans Canteen Service. During her career, she took several local art classes, but her job took priority over her desire to be a successful artist. After 37 years and retirement, Bonnie and her husband (John) moved to South Walton in February 2011. After finding a home and getting settled, Bonnie unpacked her craft supplies and settled into her niche in life. She works in mixed media, oils, watercolors, and some acrylic. One of Bonnie’s oil paintings,“Poppy Quintet”, was shown in the Top of the Class 2014 competition. Since her move to the area, she has taken two of Tom Lynch’s watercolor classes, and currently takes watercolor classes with Carol Dickson at the CAA, oil painting with Dorothy Starbuck, and acrylic with Betty Pinkston. Bonnie is finally where she wants to be, living at the most beautiful beaches in the world, creating art and hoping to be discovered. https://www.bonitaloman.com/
