  • Bonita Loman

VIEW GALLERY ART Bonita Loman Bonnie is a self- taught artist that believes that life isn’t about finding yourself, but creating yourself and she is creating. Bonnie loves vibrant colors and incorporates them in her art. Her mixed media compositions combine the theme of the beautiful area of South Walton, an then adding a personal touch with her Mom’s jewelry collection. Each piece is unique. Bonita Doerfler Loman, (Bonnie) was born and grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh, in the small borough of Blawnox. Her first exposure to Art was from her Babka (grandmother in Polish), who was involved in all aspects of crafting. During Bonnie’s school years she was in her element in any art room. She entered several art competitions and received an honorable mention for her elephant spoon sculpture. She also attended Toole Painting classes in her early years that aided in her painting abilities. Bonnie’s life took her away from Pittsburgh while working for the Veterans Canteen Service. During her career, she took several local art classes, but her job took priority over her desire to be a successful artist. After 37 years and retirement, Bonnie and her husband (John) moved to South Walton in February 2011. After finding a home and getting settled, Bonnie unpacked her craft supplies and settled into her niche in life. She works in mixed media, oils, watercolors, and some acrylic. One of Bonnie’s oil paintings,“Poppy Quintet”, was shown in the Top of the Class 2014 competition. Since her move to the area, she has taken two of Tom Lynch’s watercolor classes, and currently takes watercolor classes with Carol Dickson at the CAA, oil painting with Dorothy Starbuck, and acrylic with Betty Pinkston. Bonnie is finally where she wants to be, living at the most beautiful beaches in the world, creating art and hoping to be discovered. https://www.bonitaloman.com/

  • Kathy Schumacher

VIEW GALLERY ART Kathy Schumacher Kathy Schumacher is an oil painter based in Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast. She is nationally recognized for her distinctive palette knife style. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, as a military wife, Schumacher worked and traveled around the world. After raising her two children, she discovered an innate talent and heartfelt passion for oil painting. Her mid-life discovery evolved into a career: she was bound to be a professional artist. Schumacher is primarily a self-taught artist citing an instinctive flair for painting. Initially, her art career began in traditional oil painting, but eventually she developed her own style using palette knives. Her novel approach is recognizable in any subject she chooses to paint: vibrant colors, energetic strokes, and multidimensional attributes resulting in a dynamic final product. Schumacher derives her inspiration from her natural surroundings: coastal landscapes, plants, florals, and even people and animals. Her original works have been exhibited at several galleries and fine art shows. She has a devoted following and collector base throughout the country. Most recently, Schumacher and her daughter, who is also an artist, had their first mother-daughter art exhibition hosted by Ferrari of San Diego. https://kathyschumacherart.com/

  • Lynnette Moody

VIEW GALLERY ART Lynnette Moody Lynnette is a self taught artist with works in galleries and collections worldwide. An ex-emergency room nurse with a short attention span, her art career began when she needed a pot for the fireplace hearth in her new home. She bought some clay, a book and a kiln. It got seriously out of hand after that. That was 15 years ago. Now, her work is mixed media, using not only clay, but weavings, wood, fused glass and, most recently, bronze. She gets bored easily..(remember the short attention span) and, so, creates a broad range of unique pieces..each is one of a kind. Her hummingbird feeders, fountains and Silly Birds will make you smile and laugh out loud. Her sculptures will inspire. Her sculptural, mixed media mirrors will enchant.

  • Kim Clark

VIEW GALLERY ART Kim Clark Journey | Acrylic/Oil | 30" x 30" $2,700.00 Magical Moth | Acrylic/Oil | 24" x 24" $1,200.00 Voyager of Celestial Dreams | Acrylic/Oil | 24" x 36" $1,800.00 Kim is an abstract realism artist surrounded by forest and living on the water with her husband in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She has a Chesapeake Bay retriever, 2 cats, 4 chickens, all kinds of wild animals visiting her yard, and a beautiful beach only 3 miles away. Her 3 adult children are all grown up with children of their own. In her spare time, she likes to travel, drink coffee on the porch, visit and playing cards with the family, and takes photographs for inspiration. It was during her seventh-grade art class that she first felt a magnetic pull of art. Encouraged by her art teacher to observe and feel the texture of yellowing maple leaves and rough tree bark, she found herself profoundly moved by the organic beauty of the world. Now, she has an artist studio in her backyard! A significant milestone and confidence came as she painted in Venice, Murano, and Burano, Italy, and exhibited her work at the Instituto Canossiano San Trovaso in Venice Italy. She continued to paint for several years and made the decision it was time to enroll at the Milan Art Institute. This elevated Kim’s skills and her artwork exponentially and is now a full-time master artist. Beyond the canvas, Kim’s ambition is for every individual to own a signed original piece of artwork, reflecting her belief in the power of emotional art.
